We have big news at John Newell Mazda.

After over 30 years jointly owning and running John Newell Mazda, John Newell has retired and sold a portion of the business to Autosports Group as of 1st July 2021.

ASG is a large public listed company currently owning over 40 dealerships, including brands such as Audi, Bentley, BMW, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati, Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Volkswagen, Volvo & many more.

John Newell built his name and good reputation based on providing excellent customer service from the first meeting to purchase a new Mazda, through to every service thereafter. Plus we have Australia’s #1 repeat customer base, and our service department has won Mazda Master Dealer status for over 10 years. This is a true testament to the efforts of all our team members involved.

Our business is run by many long term employees, many who have over 12-25 years’ service during this time and we can confirm that nothing is set to change other than our name.

We will be known as Alexandria Mazda from now on. Our business will still be run by our Dealer Principal, Mark Conlon and managed by the same great teams you have grown to know and see at the dealership.

SERVICE TEAM
Headed up by Tony Riley, our service team are friendly and factory-trained, ensuring your vehicle receives the best care possible. We also offer While You Wait services, loan cars, free WI-FI and a courtesy bus.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT
Headed up by Mina Gindi, the team have a wealth of experience in the finance/insurance industry and have access to many financers to provide competitive quotes to complete the package when you decide to upgrade your Mazda.

You will see some new features added to our website and future sales promotions!
